I'm a passionate artist working to blend the lines between metallurgy, jewelry, and fashion.
Sierra Apicella is a metalworking and jewelry artist from Western New York, currently a senior completing her undergraduate at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Sierra began her education in the arts in RIT’s Illustration program in 2021 before switching to metals during the fall of 2023. Drawing from her background in illustration, Apicella’s work often features a distinctive illustrative quality, evident in both her overall designs and her use of color. Notable achievements include being selected as the Artist in Residence at Sharon Art Studio in San Francisco, CA, and receiving the 2024 Tiffany Foundation scholarship from RIT.
